About

Born in New York City and raised in Montclair, New Jersey, I graduated from Colgate University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Peace Studies, then received my J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2004.

I practiced law for five years in Vermont while freelance writing on the side. In 2011, I joined the Tuck School of Business as a senior writer in the Office of Communications; this shift allowed me to pursue writing and journalism in a more full time capacity.

I’m an avid road and mountain biker, Nordic and backcountry skier, and fly fisher, an I’ve been lucky enough to write about these activities that fuel my passion.

I live in Woodstock, Vermont with my wife and our three children.
